Georgia Basketball Offseason Update

The Georgia basketball team ended their 2023-24 season positively after advancing to the NIT Semi-Finals. Georgia came into last season with NCAA tournament hopes but they had to settle for an NIT bid but they made the most out of the opportunity. After falling to Seton Hall in the NIT, a lot of questions loomed for this upcoming offseason. There were questions about which players would stay, who would transfer and who would arrive at UGA from High School and the transfer portal.

Overall, this Georgia basketball roster has improved a lot from a year ago with a top 15 freshman class coming in and 5 solid transfer who will all contribute throughout the year. This is the most talented roster UGA has had in years and should put them at least on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament.
